Production Worker/Granulation

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for granulating and processing materials as specified by run sheets and SOP’s. Will train those seriously looking for employment growth and stability.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Requires being mobile 85% of the shift. Requires the ability to perform well under pressure of deadlines and unexpected circumstances. Requires the ability to lift and manipulate up to 100 pounds. Requires frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, pushing and pulling. Requires occasional climbing, crawling, crouching and kneeling. Requires the ability to maintain equilibrium. Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires normal vision range and the absence of color blindness. Requires a normal sense of smell, touch and sound. Requires attention to detail. Requires the ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English. Requires the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Requires the use of calculators. Requires the ability to maintain a level of hygiene in work area that meets regulations/requirements. Requires the ability to operate machinery related to granulation operation. Requires normal predictable attendance.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in granulation rooms. Occasionally requires work outside granulation rooms in warehouse or grinding rooms. Work is performed in dusty environment requiring use of personal protective equipment; hard hat, dust mask, respirator, eye and hearing protection. Work area may be cramped at times and requires the ability to work well with co-workers. Workers may not wear jewelry of any kind, false nails, false eyelashes or piercings.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (Includes but is not limited to):

  • Operate granulation machinery
  • Review and understand all paperwork related to granulation process
  • Follow verbal and/or written instructions from Team Leader
  • Report injuries or illness to Team Leader
  • Report mechanical problems to Team Leader
  • Report safety concerns to Team Leader
  • Other job related duties as assigned
  • Must read, write and speak English

Position includes: Hourly rate, Medical/Dental/Vision/FSA Plan/401K Plan/Personal Time Off (PTO), 7 Paid Holidays per year.

This is a Full Time Position and is an Afternoon Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
